Very good, excellent suction, cleans very well.
What’s good, the ball system makes it very manoeuvrable and it is much less bulky than our previous Dyson so it can get under things which that one could not. We always had problems with the old Dyson and radiators, you could get into a position where it tried to lift them off the wall! This one glides effortlessly underneath so you can clean right up to the edge. Excellent suction giving a great clean and nicely groomed carpets. Not too heavy and easy to carry around, our old Dyson was a bit of a lump!
The negatives, the dust container is smaller so it needs emptying more often. The whole thing is plastic! It is a very clever design but plastic is not a longterm material, on our old Dyson the handle snapped off as the plastic gave way due to fatigue.
Considering it is made in China and of plastic it seems a little pricey to me.
Having said that I am not sure what the alternatives are which give you the same sort of features and performance.

I have had a dyson before years ago, but this one is in a league of its own !! It’s light weight, but very powerful and the ball makes it very easy to handle.

Initially thee was no suction, but pressed down on nozzle and that appears to have worked. Otherwise very happy with my purchase.
